Friends of Black Asses
The "Cul-Noir" pig is a Limousin pig breed. The pork is vigorous and rustic. Not very demanding, the breeding method is traditional and natural. Raised in the open air, it offers healthy meat of very high quality taste. It is to the consumption of chestnuts that is due the highly appreciated flavor of the meat and the whiteness of its bacon. Rillettes, crickets, pâtés, blood sausages, ham illustrate the incomparable quality of this pig which has assets recognized by all professionals in the food industry. Through its actions, the Association promotes and perpetuates this exceptional breed of pig and thus perpetuates the regional identity and values. It's the 1st Sunday of August. that each year takes place the Festive Day dedicated to the "black bottom" pigs.

Country Farmers Markets
The initial philosophy, initiated by the Chamber of Agriculture of Corrèze in partnership with the Municipality of Ségur, is oriented towards the promotion of products from local producers. The Association of Local Producers' Markets organizes this meeting between consumers and producers. Every Monday in July and August, the Festive Markets are organized from 5 p.m. on the Place du Champ de Foire. Producers set up and sell their productions.
The Brotherhood of Black Cul Pork of Limousin
The Cul Noir du Limousin Pork Brotherhood was created in 1986 in the town of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche (Haute-Vienne), cradle of the eponymous pig breed. This association, bringing together members from all walks of life, is committed to revaluing, in the pure regional tradition, this local production, threatened with extinction. Still present at the beginning of the 20th century in all Limousin farmyards, this meat unlike any other has ensured the subsistence of its breeders since the Middle Ages.
