The trails around Ségur
Ségur le Château is classified among "The most beautiful villages in France", it is a real medieval jewel with a past steeped in history. The unexpected architecture of the 15th and 16th century noble houses, nestled around the ruins of the old castle, testifies to the splendor of the past. Chédal agricultural and landscape park

Located at the edge of the village, the Chédal agricultural and landscape park was developed between 1860 and 1880, as evidenced by the Sequoïadendron giganteum and the Thuya plicata zebrina. After the damage caused by the 1999 storm, the owner planted 200 oak trees from all over the world. In 2003, the park won a prize awarded by the Association of Old French Houses for a garden redone after the storm. In 2013, it obtained the Jardin Remarquable label. To see: cabin in a remarkable tree, neo-Gothic tower, contemporary sculptures, 19th century aviary, small castle in ruins.
Arnac-Pompadour, the city of horses
15 km from Ségur-le-Château you will find Arnac-Pompadour. Pompadour is known for its national stud farm and the many equestrian events that take place there (more than 150 per year). Around its imposing castle, the hippodrome and the equestrian stadium of Puy Marmont offer a unique setting for the various competitions scheduled each year. For all information, click here .

Castle of Coussac-Bonneval
At 11 km from Ségur_le-Château is located the castle of Bonneval, on a slight height in the center of Coussac-Bonneval, which allows it to offer a magnificent panorama. Family residence since the end of the 18th century, it was previously a military place, part of a line of defense of strategic importance forming part of bastions which protected access to Aquitaine.
